Frequently asked questions

What forms of payment do you accept?

Tiny Tots Therapy, LLC offers in-home occupational and feeding therapy for private pay.  Services provided are considered “out-of-network” for insurance claims.  We strongly believe you should have the freedom to choose your provider and not be limited to medical care based on your insurance plan. Upon request, we will provide you with a detailed insurance reimbursement receipt (also known as a “Superbill”) to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.  Insurance reimbursement rates can vary greatly depending on your individual insurance plan, benefits and deductible.  It is recommended that you call your insurance company to become familiar with reimbursement for feeding and occupational therapy.

Payment is due on the day of service.  Payment methods accepted include personal checks, major credit cards, and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Spending Accounts (HSA).  Additionally, Tiny Tots Therapy, LLC is a vendor on ClassWallet so we can accept ESA (Empowerment Scholarship Account) funds to use as payment for services rendered.

Consult services and Craniosacral fascial therapy sessions are not something we are able to provide a superbill for and are an out of pocket expense. Please let us know if there is a way we can assist you in accessing our support.

Do you offer teletherapy services?

Virtual occupational therapy or feeding therapy ongoing sessions using HIPAA secure zoom platform are also available for those living in the state of Arizona.

This type of therapy is beneficial to children and families who may be medically fragile, have unconventional daily schedules or families who prefer to learn and implement therapy interventions at a distance. Virtual sessions can be a great way for the family to be directly involved in therapy!

Can I still utilize your services if I don’t live in Arizona?

Yes! We provide virtual consult services to anyone who may be looking for additional developmental support or feeding support for their infant or young child. These are not considered occupational therapy sessions but are an opportunity to discuss any concerns you may have about your child’s development, feeding difficulties, strategies you can implement at home and build the confidence to help your child grow to their full potential!

Craniosacral fascial therapy sessions are only available in person.

If I don’t want to commit to ongoing therapy sessions, can I still schedule occasional appointments with you to observe my child and offer suggestions to help with their development?

Yes, parent coaching/ consult sessions would be a good option and will include a written summary of the discussion and plan.

This approach to therapeutic practice has been proven to be most effective for children 3 and under. Research shows that children in this age range learn best from their own caregivers in their own natural environment. In these coaching sessions, you may learn strategies to help your child with sensory regulation, ADLs (self-care skills), fine motor skill development, feeding, sleep and play! Families with children over the age of 3 will also benefit from their caregivers implementing strategies into their daily routines with consistency. We want to empower you so that you can learn how to teach your child the skills required to live a happy and independent life!

How do I know if your services are a good fit for me and my child?

If your infant or child is experiencing any of the following feeding or swallowing difficulties, please do not hesitate to reach out for a complimentary 15 minute phone consultation. We can discuss your child’s feeding issues and your concerns, review the evaluation process, and go over the payment and insurance reimbursement process.
